Financing graduate education can be a challenge. Although graduate students are likely to have more financial obligations, less aid is available from federal programs to meet educational expenses. The following links contain information about financial resources for graduate students at the University of Oregon.

The UO Department of Architecture offers approximately 30 Graduate Teaching and Research Fellow (GTF/GRF) positions each term. Each position comes with a stipend of about $1,267 and a tuition waiver for the term of appointment. Option I and Option II students are sometimes awarded a position during their first year, but more typically, in the second year. For the 2002-03 academic year, 51 out of 101 applicants were awarded GTF positions.
