Gary Moye has been a practicing architect since 1972.  His extensive experience with building design and its processes encompasses a broad range of building types and project contexts.  For seven years he was a member of the highly regarded and world-renowned office of Louis I. Kahn in Philadelphia.  Following Kahn’s death in 1974, Gary Moye was a partner in the successor firm formed to complete the work then in progress.  He has also worked with BOOR/A Architects, a large Portland firm, as a lead designer on a selective project basis.

After many years of professional practice Gary Moye established his Eugene office in 1986.  Since its inception, the firm has undertaken a wide variety of building projects- commercial, institutional, recreational, academic, and residential.  It also provides planning and project definition services for small communities, civic groups, institutional, and academic clients.

Professor Moye teaches Design Studio, Design Development Media, and a seminar which analyzes the buildings of Louis I. Kahn.
