"In teaching I strive to create educational experiences which encourage students to speculate about the tectonic implications of their proposals and assist them in developing their inherent intuition regarding structure: the relationship between force and form."

In her research and professional work, Professor Theodoropoulos addresses the intersection between the disciplines of structure and architecture. Her professional activities involve research and consulting work in the fields of seismic design and historic structures. She has served as a consultant to AIA Research on projects and educational programs related to seismic design. Her involvement with historic structures has included work with HABS/HAER, the directorship of the Neutra Research House in Los Angeles and research regarding the bridges of Los Angeles."

Professor Theodoropoulos teaches courses in seismic design, structures and architectural design studios.
